That's why SUNY schools across New York will celebrate "Completion Day" next Wednesday, October 3.
The day will be celebrated next Wednesday at all state schools.

"You cannot turn on the national news today, without someone about how important it is for more students to go to college and for more students who start college to complete college," said Broome Community College President, Dr. Kevin Krumm.
"I know that so many of our young people start, and you know, they just can't, they have to work part-time or they have families. And they feel we can't do," said Broome County Executive, Debbie Preston, "I need them to know, they're going to be better off in the long run."
The state said people are more likely to have professional success after completing a college degree.
