(WBNG Binghamton) Investigators working together from New York and Ohio track down suspects following a string of pharmacy thefts.
The Broome County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary four months ago at "The Pharmacy" in Johnson City.
The suspects took $12,000 in prescription medications.
Similar burglaries were reported in Chenango and Tioga Counties and in Franklin County, Ohio.
"You do your burglary then jump on the interstate and you're gone, totally out of the area," said David Harder, (R) Broome County Sheriff. "It's hard to track people out of the area compared to someone who lives local and word gets around."
The Broome, Tioga and Franklin County Sheriff's Offices worked together to capture the suspects.
The four men will be extradited back to New York.
