The Nearly New Shop, Around the Tiers

(WBNG Binghamton) The local Ladies of Charity was founded in 1937. Since then, the service group has helped all over the community. Suzanne Johnson and Sister Diane Louttit. Were in the studio to tell us more.

The local chapter of the Ladies of Charity operates a gently used clothing shop at 100 Main Street in Binghamton, NY and works closely with human service organizations in the Southern Tier to provide clothing to those in need.

The shop offers gently used clothing at low prices and and provides free clothing to those in emergency situations.

It is open Monday, Tuesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12;30 p.m.

Voucher clients are served Wednesdays.

From Tuesday, October 23 to Thursday the 25th, the shop will be partnering with the Coldwater Creek store for a to do a "Buy Back" event.

Customers that bring "gently worn" Coldwater Creek clothes will receive discounts towards new clothing.
