Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The queen of disco sings to thousands of fans in Vestal, taking them back to the 1970's.
Donna Summer wow'ed the crowds at Binghamton University's Anderson Center.
Wearing a sparkly purple dress, the 61-year old led off her show with "the Queen is Back."
Fans from ALL generations jammed out to her hits including "Hot Stuff", "Last Dance" and "She Works Hard For the Money."
Summer won 5 Grammy Awards in the 1970's.
Fans traveled from all over New York State to catch Summer on the stage.
"What's great about Donna Summer is that she really interacts with the audience and she really sings. She's really maintained her voice. She's 61 and she still sings as great as she did when she was 25," said Eldo Estes, New York City.
"I've never seen her so I'm very excited because she's getting older and you never know when she's going to come out again," said Peggy Bier, Greene.
"I'm 50. She was our age group. We danced lots of dances with her," said Ruth Anne Burd, Vestal.
It's estimated Summer has sold 130-million records worldwide.
The next stop on her tour is the MGM-Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut.
