Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The season for holiday giving continues to help families that are still in need after Hurricane Sandy.

The Broome Leadership Institute Class of 2013 held a Toy Drive to fill this entire truck.

They're collecting unwrapped toys for children between the ages 2-13 that were affected in the recent disaster.

BLI's goal is to raise 500 toys that will be shipped down to New York City before Christmas.

"The Broome Leadership Institute does a community service project every year. This year we took on this additional project because of what we saw with Sandy. So I'm very excited about it," said Anthony Mazzatti of the Class of 2013.

The class teamed up with a New York City based charity, Kids in Distressed Situations (KIDS).

They will be providing shipping and/or transportation for the donated toys to be delivered to families.
