Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) United Health Services recently opened the doors of a new facility on the Vestal Parkway.

The new nearly 90,000 square foot building houses a variety of patient care options, all in one place.

"First we have our walk-in clinic, we have adult and pediatric primary care, breast care services, surgical services, OBGYN services, pharmacy, labs, X-Ray," said UHS CEO Matthew Salanger.

The $29 million facility recently opened to the public, taking some services from its other hospital locations and putting them to work at the new building.

"One of the things we did was take all of the breast care services that were located at both Wilson Hospital and Binghamton General Hospital and combine them here at the outpatient setting," said Salanger.

The update makes it possible to visit your doctor, get tests done, and see results within the same day.

This has the potential to cut down on time between testing and doctor visits.

"It really is encouraging early primary care, early detection of disease, and do it in a way that's convenient for patients so they can get in and get out," said Salanger.

The new building also provides easy access to more than 400 parking spots.

The out patient facility is hosting an open house on October 6th from 1-4p.m..
