Town of Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three people are arrested after throwing retail tags out of their moving Vehicle. Police now know they are linked to other crimes.

The Vestal Police Department received reports Friday evening that tags were being thrown from a vehicle driving down Vestal Road.

Vestal Police pulled over the driver, arresting Benjamin Johnson, Miranda Guerin and Joshua Olivera from Binghamton.

Police later determined that Guerin and Johnson were suspects in the Septemeber 17th armed robbery of a Subway Restaurant in Great Bend, PA., and in recent burglaries in the City of Binghamton and the Town of Conklin.

Officers found a pellet gun believed to have been used in the Great Bend robbery. Both were charged as Fugitives from Justice.

Olivera was identified as the suspect of a retail larceny in Johnson City earlier this month.

He was charged with Criminal Impersonation, a misdemeanor.

All three were arraigned in the Town of Vestal Court and remain in the Broome County Jail.

Additional charges are expected from police in Binghamton, Johnson City, the Broome County Sheriff's Office, along with Pennsylvania State Police.
