Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It may not be the biggest parade in town, but the Edward Street parade in Vestal has plenty of pride to go around.

Residents took a few minutes out of their holiday to celebrate together by hosting their own Fourth of July parade.

It's the third year the street has marched. It started with Dawn White lining the street with flags and a handful of people walking.

Since that first year the event has grown into something that neighbors look forward to.

White hands out flyers, and the event has its own princess and a tractor ride.

"We get to see all the neighbors and it's one time a year when we get to talk to everyone in the neighborhood," White said.

Residents on Edward Street say they will continue the annual event.
