(WBNG Binghamton) An I-beam from the World Trade Center is coming to its new home in the town of Union.

A procession of honor will be held Tuesday to transport the 10 foot structural steel I-beam from the World Trade Center to rest in Highland Park.

The procession will begin at 5 p.m. at the Endwell Fire Station and continue up to Highland Park in the Remembrance Garden, where the Annual Candlelight Service will be held at 6 p.m.

The procession was originally scheduled for last year on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy, but was cancelled because of the response to last September's flood.

The Town of Union Board and the Tri Cities Women's Club are asking everyone to come out to remember, pay honor and give thanks.
