Barbara Jeanne Reed, 92, loving mother, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Barbara, born April 5, 1920, was a lifelong resident of the Broome County area. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Hazel Mable; brother, Kenneth Mable; husband, Bruce Reed; daughters, Barbara Reed and Deborah Reed; and son, David Reed. She is survived by brother, Donald (Irene) Mable; daughters, Susan Millard, Sally Taft, Wendy Haney; and sons, James Reed, Thomas Reed, Lawrence Reed, and Byron Reed. Barbara is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Endicott, NY on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. where Barbara was a lifelong member. Expressions of sympathy in Barbara's memory can be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation at WWW.EYESIGHT.ORG/DONATIONS.HTML.
