Thurston (Ty) B. Youngs, 84, of Vestal died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2012 after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Isabelle of Afton, NY, and his wife, Marianne Reindl of Vestal, NY. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Thurston Jr. and Elizabeth of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Kurt and Ellen of Irvine, CA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Sydney and Taylor. Ty retired from Raymond Corporation in 1990 after 23 years of service. Ty was a retired Army officer with 21 years of distinguished service. During his retirement years, Ty enjoyed playing golf with his close friends and spending time with his family, neighbors, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 6 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton on Friday, 12 pm. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Thursday from 4 pm until service time at 6 pm.
