Harold B. Farr, Sr., 92, of Vestal passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was the son of Tracy and Carrie Farr. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; a brother, Franklin; and a son, Ralph Tracy Farr. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Matias, Endicott, NY, Nancy (Robert) Livermore, Vestal, Deberra (Richard) Trowbridge, Owego; his sons, Harold B. (Sharon) Farr, Jr., Vestal, Gerald F. Farr, Newark Valley, Randy A. Farr, Owego; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a nephew, Duane Farr, Utica. Harold served in the US Air Corps during WWII and spent 37 days behind enemy lines after being shot down. He was a member of American Legion Post #1700 of Endicott, retired from Evans Plumbing and Heating, Endicott and was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. Most of all he loved spending time with his many friends and family members.
Funeral Services for Harold will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, NY with the Rev. Rollin Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Please check obituary on Friday to confirm service times. Changes may be made due to inclement weather.

Harold was truly a great man. He will be sorely missed.
