Charlotte P. (Pragacz) Pedro
Charlotte P. (Pragacz) Pedro, 93, of Binghamton, formerly of Windsor, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Good Shepherd Fairview Nursing Facility to join her loving husband, William. She was predeceased by her parents, Wolenta and Mary Pragacz; three brothers, Stanley, Adam and Edward; and three sisters, Stella Hovanich, Sophie Margentanski and Sally DeVoe. She is survived by a brother, Walter Pragacz of Johnson City; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Theresa and Lawrence Morton of Endicott, Irene Smith of Seattle, WA; a son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Joyce Wdowiak of Windsor; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Frank Martino of Kirkwood, Carol and Lynn Cunningham of Binghamton; a sister-in-law, Janet Pragacz of Binghamton; ten grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Charlotte was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kirkwood for 20 years. A retired IBM employee with 25 years of service, Charlotte enjoyed traveling with her husband, knitting, reading and fishing. The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff at Good Shepherd for their wonderful and compassionate care. Also, her close friends, Inga and Tina, and especially Debbie, for caring so much and all her visits.
A funeral service will be held 9:00am on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Laskowski Funeral Home, and at 9:30am at The Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
