James E. Shultz


Died: November 11, 2012

Jim Shultz, 84, of Brackney, PA, formerly of Forest Lake, PA and Endwell, NY, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, November 11, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Eleanor; daughters, Karen (Rex) Rosenbarker, Kathy Darpino (Jim) Ross, and Joanne (Dan) Foley; grandchildren, Ben, Adam, and Sarah Rosenbarker, Anthony (Courtni) and Carmin Darpino, Danielle and Sean Perry; great grandchildren, Jadin, Nickolas, and Aubri Darpino; and sister-in-law, Donna Shultz. Jim was a US Navy veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He retired from IBM Endicott after more than 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed camping, boating, bowling and golf. He was active in the Kalurah Shrine and the Legion of Honor. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 599 F&AM of Maine, NY. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassion and care during his illness.

The family will receive friends at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott, NY on Friday, November 16 from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CNY Chapter, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
