Cynthia E. Blakeslee, 72, of Binghamton left us Sunday, November 18, 2012 and is resting peacefully with her Lord. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, of 52 years. She is survived by her loving children, Cindy and Karl Glass, Kathy and Ron Merril, Robert III, Richard and Kristie, and Wesley and Bridgette; grandchildren, Jimmy Quigley, Karen and Sean Endress, Caroline Greene, T.J. Kozak, Alex, Nicholas, Robert, and Alistair Blakeslee; her step-mother, Helen Graveson; sisters, Madeline Shumway, Jeri and Mike Setaro, and Mary Jackson; brother, Jim Butler; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was past president and secretary and lifetime member of Brookside P.T.A. She faithfully served at various parishes in the Binghamton area. Cynthia was a lifetime artist and craftsman. Many people were blessed by the beautiful gifts she created. A special thanks to Bridgewater Nursing Home and Wilson Hospital for the wonderful care given to her.

Funeral and Committal Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with Rev. Eric Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Glen Castle Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
