Norman A. Van Barriger, 73, of Harpursville died unexpectedly on Friday, November 9, 2012 at his home. He was predeceased by his wife, Kay. He is survived by his sister, Winifred Jacobs, brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Emma Van Barriger, nephew, Jonathan & Betsy Jacobs, Shannon Meade, all of Harpursville, and also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was retired from Chenango Forks School District.
