John Guzzey, 77, of Owego passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Frances Guzzey; brother, Robert Guzzey. John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Guzzey; two daughters, Michelle Wolff of Endicott, Melinda LeDuc of Endicott; five grandchildren, Justin and Marshall Hulslander, Whitney and Michael Wolff, Raleigh LeDuc; great grandson, Trevor Hulslander. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from IBM and later worked part-time for State Line Auto. John was an active member of the Owego Moose Lodge and a member of the West Endicott American Legion.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 5:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in John Guzzey's memory to American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Road, Syracuse, NY 13057. Condolence may be made to John's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
