Ann Samson, nee DuBrava, 88, of Binghamton passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. Ann was a remarkably caring mother whose selfless concern was always to her family first. She was predeceased by her husband, Perry C. Samson. Ann is survived by her children, Gloria J. and Richard Knapp, Harpursville, Perry J. and Deborah Samson, Ann Arbor, MI, Julie A. Samson and Robert Henry, Preston Hollow, NY, and Daniel J. Samson and Wendy Dury-Samson, Delmar, NY; treasured grandchildren, Tara and Tina Knapp, Karis and Carla Samson, Leland, Clara and Gillian Gibson, Annie and Lenny Henry, and Nora Samson; great-grandchildren, Frankie and Richie Ryan, Meyer Knapp and Theodore Connolly. She leaves behind a large extended family. Ann attended Daniel S. Dickinson School and was a graduate of Binghamton North High School. She was a member of the Town of Binghamton Historical Society, St. Augustine RC Church and the Czechoslovak Moravian Club.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Saint Augustine RC Church, Church Road, Brackney, PA with the Reverend Casimir Stanis officiating. Interment in Saint Augustine Cemetery will be in the spring. To forward condolences please visit www.demunnfh.com.
