James E. Snider, Jr., 67, of Johnson City went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, December 25, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He is survived by his daughter, Luciana Snider, Binghamton; two grandchildren, Teagan Morris and Sage Morris; two sisters, Kay Hopkins and Nancy Snider, both of Johnson City; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Valerie Snider, New Mexico; one brother-in-law, Alex Perkow, Johnson City; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. James cherished his grandchildren and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Funeral Services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City on Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Elvin S. Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of the services.
