Ann T. Barker, 76, of Afton died Wednesday morning, January 30, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, George Barker, and a son, Jeffrey Barker. She is survived by 4 children, Debra Hester, Georgia, Steven Barker, Afton, Paul Barker, Afton, Carol Topping, Carmel, NY; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Carol Barker, Sidney, and Denise Barker, Windsor; caregiver, Joyce Baxter, Afton; son-in-law, Glenn Hester, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, “Cujo”. She was a former employee of Afton Central Schools.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple St., Harpursville on Friday at 7pm. Rev. Karl Silfee will officiate. Burial will be on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Newburgh, NY. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
