Died: February 9, 2013

Mary (Jastremsky) Whitmarsh, 85, of Owego died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA after a long and valiant battle with heart disease. Mary enjoyed spending time with her siblings and her husband, Ken, who predeceased her in 2007. She loved dancing and golfing with Ken and spending time in her flower garden. Mary is survived by her devoted caretaker and son, Paul; two daughters, Karen Valenzuela, Chandler, AZ, Gail Columbia, Hillsborough, NJ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters, Josephine Lubensky, New Castle, PA, Dorothy Rieg, Apalachin, NY, Irene Sierzant, Endicott, NY, Regina Hill, Owego, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home with the Rev. William Moorby officiating. Charitable donations can be made to the Tioga Center Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 185, Tioga Center, NY 13845.
