Evelyn Corey Smith, 85, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by a daughter, Maureen Kuna. She is survived by her life partner, Norman Smith, Binghamton; three children, Maxine Corey, Richard Corey and Norman Smith; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was a retired employee of River Mede Manor Nursing Home and was loved by all.

Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango St. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from noon until the time of service.
