Teodora "Dora" (Iannone) Sissenstein, 88, of Endwell passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, David W. Sissenstein, Sr.; her grandson, David W. Sissenstein, III. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David W. Sissenstein, Jr. and his wife, Justina of Endwell; one daughter, Linda Painter of Marysville, Washington; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) VanDervort, Jacqueline Sissenstein, Jay, Scott, Allen, Michael and David Painter; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony (Anna) Iannone; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Josephine Iannone, Anita (Geno) Musa, all of Endicott; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Sharon Sissenstein of Berkshire, NY; also several neices, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, a retired beautician and homemaker who loved to bake, play cards, especially "Bridge" and travel. She was an avid reader of mystery novels, crocheting and gardening.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be held. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, epressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
