Vincent F. Sellitto, 84, of Montrose, PA passed away on April 1, 2013 at Gracious Living Estates. He was born in Susquehanna, PA to the late Giovanni and Pasquelena (Vilano) Sellitto. Surviving is his wife of 25 years, Helen Sellitto; five children, David and Richard Sellitto, Kathleen States, Margaret Lewis, Mary Schauger; three step-children, Daniel Castiglione, Laura Hall, and Patrick Castiglione; special nephew, Tom Sellitto; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, John, Anthony, Ralph, Guido; two sisters, Anna and Susie; grandson, Anthony Sellitto. Vince started work early on the Erie Railroad. He also worked at the Susquehanna Borough, and spent twenty years as manager at the Acme in Montrose. He was also a Deputy Warden at the "old jail" in Montrose, later working and finally retiring two years ago from the court house. Vince enjoyed fishing and golfing.
A Funeral Rite of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, with Rev. Gerard F. Safko of the Holy Name of Mary Church officiating. Interment will be in the Montrose Cemetery. Visitations will be from 9 a.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
