Nancy I. Edmunds, 80, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday May 4, 2013. She was born August 5, 1932 in Shamokin, PA, daughter of the late George and Irene (Patrick) Weimer. On October 25, 1952 she married Wilbert R. (Bert) Edmunds, who survives. She is also survived by her children; William R. and Linda Edmunds, of Vestal, Scott A. and Helen Edmunds ofJohnson City and Cathy Jo Edmunds, of Binghamton, seven grandchildren; Nicholas (Melissa) Edmunds, Brian (Tara) Edmunds, Laura (Micah) Brassard, Joshua Edmunds, Heather Edmunds, Michael McManamon and Steven Edmunds., two great-grandchildren; Ava Brassard and Michael Edmunds, sister and brother-in-law; Linda and Morris Gard, of Shamokin, PA, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; Nancy (Edmunds) Farley and Joan (Edmunds) Latsha both of Elysburg, PA, Gladys (Edmunds) and Charles Bryce of Lakeland, FL, additional family; Allison, Brandon and Tyler Kramer, numerous nieces and nephews and a dear and faithful friend, Cindy Yocum of Catawissa, PA. Nancy retired as the Cafeteria Cook Manager at Johnson City High School, after 23 years of service. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, where she sang in the choir for over 50 years, was a Sunday School teacher and served on the Board of Deacons.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton, Rev. Robert T. Peak will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the STAR unit at James G. Johnston Nursing Home, 286 Deyo Hill Rd.
