Bernadine H. Fedich, 85, of Endicott, passed away peacefully and joined her angels on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Josephine Volok. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Basil Fedich; three children, Robert and Nancy Fedich of Long Valley, NJ, Ann Marie (Fedich) and Michael Calvasina of Apalachin, NY, Kathy Sue (Fedich) and Andrew Stebner of Endwell, NY; seven grandchildren, Dr. James Fedich and his wife, Kristyn, Douglas Fedich and his wife, Kate, Jennifer (Calvasina) and her husband, Kevin Novotny, David Calvasina and his fiancée, Mari Valonis, Laurie (Calvasina) and her husband, Justin Schmidt, Sara Stebner, Matthew Stebner; five great-grandchildren, Jacob and Maxwell Fedich, Madison, Jack and Max Novotny; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Allyn Storm of Owego, NY, Becky and Dick Laszewski of Greenwood, SC; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Endicott, and its Ladies Guild. She was a retired employee of the Union Endicott School District.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 1907 Jenkins St., Endicott. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. The Rev. Michael Kleban will hold Parastas Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to either St. Mary's Orthodox Church or Meals on Wheels of Western Broome, 705 W. Main St., Endicott, NY 13760.
