Barbara J. Rauch, 71, of South Montrose, PA, passed away at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 10, 1942 in Binghamton, NY to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Washburn) Silver. Her husband of 20 years, Charles R. Rauch, survives. Also surviving are her three daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and James Baker, Montrose, PA, Terry and Carl Benscoter, Laceyville, PA, Sue Hitchcock, Montrose, PA; four sons and daughters-in-law, Vern Hitchcock, Dimock, PA, Will and Amy Hitchcock, Montrose, PA, Dean and Melissa Hitchcock, Montrose, PA, Greg and Casey Hitchcock, Springville, PA; two brothers and sister-in-law, Tony and Diane Silver, Hallstead, PA, Bill Silver, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sisters, Virginia Gellatt, TN, Ruth Whinney, NY; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken and Carol Rauch, Montrose, PA, Debbie and Bill Lawrence, Montrose, PA; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Wheeler and Jean Abrams. Barbara was a master gardener. She enjoyed knitting, playing Bingo, swimming, reading, traveling, cake decorating, crossword puzzles, and going to the casino. She used to race stock cars on the ice at Leisure Lake. Barbara loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2014 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Phillip Richardson of Clarks Summit, PA officiating. Interment will be in the Brookdale Cemetery. Visitations will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. you will be missed dearly by all.Loved when you came into Robisons in southtown.We had some good laughs.R.I.P. Barbara until we meet again.Prayers sent to family.:(
