Samuel Lincoln George, age 19, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 from heart failure.

He was the son of Austin and Nancy George of Binghamton, the older brother to August George and the grandson of Genevieve George. Sam was a student at Binghamton University. Sam was intrepid and full of life. Everything he undertook, he did with passion and energy. One of the things we will remember Sam for is how much he loved playing music with his friends. Sam loved his friends and family with all his heart and his generosity was boundless. We will remember him as the natural athlete who shined in every sport he played. We will remember how he and his friends from Binghamton High School played Ultimate Frisbee in Recreation Park in every kind of weather, the colder the better. What we will remember the most about Sam is that he never wasted a moment of his life, and how he always found joy in challenging himself.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00am at Christ Church, 10 Henry St., Binghamton. Rev. John Martinichio will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc. 71 Main St. Binghamton on Friday evening from 7-9pm.

Austin I am very sorry to hear about your son my prayers are with you and your family. I am glad I got to meet such a nice young man. Rachael always had such good things to say about him and he was so good to her especially when her dad died.
