Anna (Mikalajunas) Baka, 93, died peacefully at Good Shepherd Fairview Home on Thursday, November 12, 2009. She was the devoted wife of Steven Baka, who died in 1988. She was also predeceased by her brother, Peter; and cousins, Anna (Joe) Baka and Helen Svereika. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Veronica Knapick; and several nieces and nephews, including Barbara & Hilgrove Delancy, of Binghamton. Anna lived on 'the farm' on Fallbrook Road in Conklin, and resided at Good Shepherd Fairview for the past 11 years. Gratitude is extended to the staff and residents at GSFH who enriched Anna's life through everyday acts of kindness and friendship. A Memorial Service will be held at the Tower of Memories at Vestal Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 10:30 AM. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
