Richard E. De Mars, Jr., 40, died suddenly on Thursday, November 19, 2009, while walking down the path toward a relaxing day of fly fishing in Pulaski. He was predeceased by his mother, Lynn De Mars; and his great-grandmother, Florence "Great-Mom" Donley. He is survived by his father, Richard E. De Mars, Sr.; his sister, Kimberly (Jason) De Mars-Katsares; his loving niece and nephew, Breann Katsares and Jack Katsares; many aunts, uncles, cousins and good fishing friends. Rick earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from SUNY-Binghamton. Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
