B-Mets Win Game, Lose Players

By Brendan O'Reilly

The B-Mets cruised to a 9-3 win over Connecticut on Thursday.
But after the game the team found out they lost another all star.
Daniel Murphy, who had 13 home runs and 67 RBI in 95 games, was promoted to Triple-A New Orleans.
Manager Mako Oliveras called Murphy one of the top hitting prospects in the entire eastern league.
He joins Niese on the Zephyrs roster.
Today the Mets also learned that Sal Aguilar will undergo season ending surgery on his elbow.
