The 50th Annual Clyde Cole Wrestling Tournament wrapped up Saturday afternoon.
In 113 lbs Oxford's Joe Nelson was down 5-4 to Carthage's Andrew McFarland with under a minute to go, but he fought hard for a takedown and pulls out the 6-5 win.
In 132 lbs. BGA's Jessee Griswold broke open a close match with Averil Park's Cody Meisner. Griswold went on to win 8-0.
At 145, Frank Garcia of Norwich had little trouble dispatching of Unatego's Codie Nichols. Garcia won 14-3.
The 160 lbs. final also brought another come-from-behind victory. This time Unatego's Leland Slawson got a take down with under a minute to go, and was able to pull out a 9-7 win over Queensbury's Frankie Nassivera.
