Austin chooses Bucknell

Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Maine-Endwell graduate, who was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds, will pass up the opportunity and go to college.

Carter Austin tells Action Sports, after meeting with the Red representatives on Sunday, he has decided to use his full scholarship and play baseball at Bucknell University.

Austin says the Reds offered a great opportunity, but in the end, he decided to go to school.

He will play there for the next 3 seasons before entering the draft again.
