Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators are without a captain no more as coach Luke Richardson has named Mark Borowiecki as the team's captain.

Borowiecki takes over for Andre Benoit, who left Binghamton at the end of the NHL Lockout to join Ottawa. The B-Sens had not named a captain since Benoit left the team.

Borowiecki has played parts of three different seasons here in Binghamton, including being part of the Calder Cup Championship run back in 2011.

Pageau recalled by Ottawa
In other B-Sens news from Wednesday, Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been recalled by Ottawa. In his first season with the B-Sens, Pageau has seven goals and 22 assists.

This is the first time Pageau has been called up to the NHL.
