Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

After two days of rest, the Binghamton Senators hit the ice this morning, to prepare for their series with Charlotte.
On the line, a trip to the Calder Dup finals.

Players and coaches say it's going to be a difficult against Charlotte.
Unlike the first two series, the Sens and Checkers have played each other 8 times this season.
And both sides know there won't be many surprises when the series begins.
Thanks to clinching their series in game 6, the B-Sens had the weekend off.

"Two days was big, especially after that travel, a 7 hour bus ride. Just to lay in bed and watch tv was kind of nice. I think all the boys enjoyed it. Now it's right back to work."

"It looks like we'll get at least one of our defensemen back. Gryba looked awfully good today. Wiercioch is close but I don't know we'll have him for Thursday. Unless Gryba has a setback between today and tomorrow morning, it looks like he's good to go."

The Sens will leave for Charlotte early Tuesday.
Game one of the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals will be Thursday, May 12th at 7:05 pm.
