(WBNG Binghamton) The Broome Community College women's soccer team is headed to the national tournament after winning the NJCAA Region 3 Championship this weekend.
The Hornets beat Alfred State 2-1 on Saturday to get the berth in the national tournament.
Alfred State was the number one ranked team in Division 3 of the NJCAA.
The national tournament will be held at Tompkins Cortland Community College from Thursday November 8th through Sunday, November 11th.
No word on who B.C.C. Will face in the first round.
The Hornets are currently 14 and 3 on the season.
They won the national title in 2007.
