BU heads up to Colgate Friday night, to play the Bearcats first game in 17 days.

Coach Tommy Dempsey, who spoke at the STOP-DWI Dinner Thursday night, said the long layoff was nice in some respects, but the team is certainly looking forward to getting back into some game action tomorrow.

"On the basketball court we're trying to fix a lot of issues," said Dempsey. "We get together and it's my first year, a lot of new guys, a new system, and we haven't had a lot of practice time since the start of the season so we've addressed a lot of areas where we think we were deficient over the first 11 games. Hopefully we'll be better going forward."

This break is the longest of the season for BU, who now plays three games in the next six days.
