Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

It was a match-up that junior Jasbriell Swain said made her smile. The Binghamton University women's basketball team will face Hartford in the first round of the America East Tournament Friday in Albany.

Hartford is a team the Bearcats know well, as BU beat the Hawks in last year's America East quarterfinal round. The two team's also split this season's series.

"I can't lie, knowing the history I did kind of smile because like I've said before, it's a dog fight, you never know what's going to happen with us playing Hartford," said Swain. "It's the tournament, it's win or go home, and there's so many upsets, so many surprises, but I am really excited to play Hartford."

BU and Hartford kicks off the America East Tournament as the two tip at noon on Friday at Albany's SEFCU Arena.
