Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A little over one month ago, two Binghamton men's basketball players were suspended from the team, only days before practice started. BU has their first game of the season on Friday, and all Bearcats are back.
Senior Javon Ralling was reinstated to the team on Thursday.
Ralling was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for an incident that occurred in downtown Binghamton in the beginning of October.
He plead not guilty to all charges at his court hearing on Monday.
Ralling is back on the squad.. But not with some repercussions. He is suspended from the first four games, including Friday's season opener, and has to complete 80 hours of community service.
It's been a rough road, but the Bearcats are glad he's back.
Bearcats Head Coach, Tom Dempsey said, "it's nice. I thought just having the full group added to the energy level of practice. It was nice to have him back out there."
The Bearcats head to Maryland to take on Loyola Friday night.
They'll be back in Binghamton for their home opener on Sunday against Brown at 2 p.m.
