With the calendar turning over to March, the Binghamton University men's basketball team is hoping to create a little madness as the Bearcats square off with top-seeded Stony Brook in the America East Tournament.

Last season, Binghamton kept it close with the SeaWolves in the quarterfinal before seeing its season end. This year, much like last year, the Bearcats lost both regular season meetings with Stony Brook. However, BU is hoping to bring a little early madness in the America East.

"Sometimes in March, for whatever reason on a given day for a given team the ball goes in basket, and a guy who has only made a handful of threes all year makes a couple," said coach Tommy Dempsey. "Those things happen, and we'll probably need that type of effort and we'll probably need some periphery guys to step forward for us to win the game."

Binghamton and Stony Brook tip off Saturday up at SEFCU Arena in Albany. The tip time is set for 6 pm.
