Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

The slow end of the NHL season continued today as the league cancelled all preseason games.
Not to worry though hockey fans.
The Binghamton Senators hit the ice tomorrow and will be having intra-squad scrimmages starting over the weekend.
And then next week they have a few preseason games of their own.

That just means the games in the AHL will be that much better.
While many NHL regulars are finding work in Europe, the best young players in the world will be flying up and down the ice in the American League and new B-Sens bench boss Luke Richardson says that should mean a lot more fun in the home barn

Richardson added that should the lockout end quickly, the Ottawa organization may keep a lot of the young talent in the AHL, meaning a good season regardless of how the work stoppage is settled.
