Rochester, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Kyle Busch sped through the streets of downtown Rochester as fans lined the sides to get a glimpse at the NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Thursday.

Busch was there to promote the Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen next month.

The road racing he did on Thursday may be much different than the racing he'll be doing at the Glen on August 11, but he said road racing in NASCAR has changed quite a bit.

"I think the road course races get better and better because the drivers get better and better at the road courses," said Busch. "Years ago not a lot of guys liked road course racing or B. gave two hoots about it. A lot more people are going gung ho at the end of the race and trying to get everything they can get out of it, knocking people out of the way. It certainly makes it frustrating for some of us drivers, but exciting for the fans."

NASCAR takes over Watkins Glen on August 11.
