Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Cornell University has removed the interim tag from men's lacrosse head coach Matt Kerwick's title. The school officially made him the 11th lacrosse coach in Big Red history on Wednesday.

Kerwick had been named the interim head man after Ben DeLuca was fired last fall following hazing allegations.

He led Cornell to an 11-5 season before they lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
