Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's been a long wait for the seniors on the Cornell men's lacrosse team to make it back to the Final Four. The team made it to Championship Weekend when the seniors were freshman, but the Big Red has been shut out since. That is, of course, until now.

Cornell takes on Duke in the first national semifinal Saturday in Philadelphia. A game that certainly doesn't look like it'll be a defensive struggle. The Big Red have averaged 16 goals in its first two tournament games, while the Blue Devils averaged 12. The team knows what to expect come Saturday afternoon.

"I think it's going to be a bit of a shootout," said Steve Mock. "We both have great defenses, but I think we're both teams that are willing to take chances at the offensive end and score a lot of goals. So that's going to be exciting this weekend."

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was a shootout," said Rob Pannell. "I think faceoffs are going to play a large part into which team is taking more shots as well. You know, being an offensive player, I wouldn't mind if it was a shootout."

Cornell isn't the only team with Final Four experience. This marks Duke's seventh straight trip to Championship weekend. The Big Red and Blue Devils are set to square off Saturday at 2:30 at Lincoln Financial Field.
