The Ottawa Senators reassigned forward Dave Dziurzynski to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, Tuesday. Later in the afternoon, the Senators recalled Mike Hoffman to the big club.

Dziurzynski, 23, was recalled by the Senators (and to the NHL) for the first time in his career on Feb. 15 and made his debut the following evening at Toronto. In 12 NHL games for Ottawa this season, he has recorded two points (two goals) and 13 penalty minutes. He has also registered 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) and 100 penalty minutes over 44 AHL games this season with Binghamton.

Hoffman, 23, was one of 27 players who participated in the Senators’ abbreviated training camp this past January. In 41 AHL games with Binghamton this season, the Kitchener, Ont., native has recorded 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) and 38 penalty minutes. He currently ranks third among active B-Sens in goals and is tied for third in overall team scoring.

The B-Sens return to action when they visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
