Forks earns spot in state semis with dominating win

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Isaiah Zimmer ran for 189 yards and JC Sweeney threw for two touchdowns as Chenango Forks dominated General Brown 35-18 in the Class C state quarterfinals on Saturday.

Forks jumped out to a 28-6 lead at the half before LJ Watson returned a Lions punt 65 yards for a touchdown to start the third quarter. The Blue Devils were able to cruise to victory from there at Ty Cobb Stadium.

Chenango Forks moves onto its second straight state semifinal appearance. This time the Blue Devils will face Cleveland Hills next Saturday in Rochester.
