GBFC shuts out Hershey FC

Town of Maine, NY (WBNG Binghamton) GBFC avenges it's only loss of the season, shutting out Hershey FC 4-0.

Defender Bogdan Yatsishin opened the scoring for GBFC in the 23rd minute on a free kick blast from 20 yards out. The score remained 1-0 at half with the hometown boys continually pressuring Hershey FC goalkeeper Jason Wieand. Greater Binghamton came out strong in the second half with Bo Jelovac deftly placing a ball in the net from a feed from Bogdan Yatsishin in the 48th minute. Substitute Armin Budnjo scored on a cross from Bo Jelovac to place the ball in the far post side netting in the 75th minute. Midfielder Mike Aingworth finished the scoring in the 89th minute from a cross from Jherrett Maroney. Goalkeeper Jason Stenta recorded his 5th shutout at home (6th overall) on just 3 saves from Hershey’s 4 shots.
