The pro national race in Unadilla is like indoor football compared to the wide open racing of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series.
Yesterday they raced the ATV's today it's the bikes as the riders take off on a 3 hour race around the 10 mile course.
Coming out of the summer break, the GNCC XC-1 PRo Class points battle is a two man race between #557 Kailub Russel, and #2 Paul Whibley.
Whibley holds a 6 point lead with 4 races to go.
Whibley riding a Yamaha, would jump out to the early lead in the first 2 laps
Then defending series champion #1 Charlie Mullins on a KTM would have a turn in the top spot.
However, Honda rider, Thad Duvall #989 would pick up his first win of the year, with Whibley taking second and Nathan Kanney taking third.
