Gorski sent back to B-Mets

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Darin Gorski was activated from the disabled list in Las Vegas, and then sent back down to Binghamton on Wednesday.

Gorski joined the B-Mets in time to start Wednesday's game in Trenton, as scheduled starter Mark Cohoon was reassigned to the bullpen.

Last season, Gorski started 24 games for the B-Mets while posting a 9-8 record.

His last start this season was for Las Vegas on April 26.

In other roster moves, the Mets sent relief pitcher Shawn Teufel from Binghamton to Single-A Brooklyn on Wednesday.

The organization also pulled up Scott Atchinson from St. Lucie to Binghamton on a Major League rehab assignment.
