Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

After a weekend where the B-Sens picked up five points, and moved back within three of first-place Syracuse, Binghamton gets even more help. The Ottawa Senators reassigned Derek Grant to Binghamton Monday.

Grant appeared in five games with the big club, after making his NHL debut February 16. Before leaving for Ottawa, Grant had 15 goals and 21 points for Binghamton in 47 games.

Those 15 goals included an AHL best five shorthanded goals for the B-Sens. Binghamton gets back on the ice Friday as the team hosts Connecticut.
